A number of
messages - for transmission ordelivery - had the letters OHMS written on them
These letters stood for ON HER MAJESTY'S SERVICE. Naturally such forms are scarce as they were for official government business.
ransmission forms were supposed ot have been kept anyway.
In addition to the early use of the Delivery type 3B form shown elsewhere dated 4 April 1865, three additional examples of the OHMS manuscript annotation for Victoria are shown below.
